For families and couples in situations of conflict: Finding solutions that restore peace

Instead of a long legal battle, wouldn’t you rather prefer a fair solution that suits every participant? This is possible more often than you think – with the right tools and the right attitude.

Mediation in Mallorca

How can complex conflicts or situations of separation be resolved together? How do we keep emotions, different perspectives and the state of affairs apart? How can we find a solution that is quick and peaceful – and out of court – that meets our individual interests and needs?

This is the aim of mediation.

Mediation enables each party involved in the conflict to untangle deadlocked situations and develop a new perspective and an understanding for one another. This sets thoughts and feelings in motion, opening up new solutions.

How does mediation work?

In mediation, a joint mediator guides this out-of-court conflict solution. As a neutral third party and external expert with a clear view of the situation, hidden needs are worked out. This creates a better understanding for each other – the foundation for resolving conflicts successfully for all parties involved.

Case study for a peaceful and fair solution

The time where separation or divorce are beginning to show, is challenging. Would you like support in resolving or concluding the situation respectfully, peacefully and fairly? Then let’s talk about your concern. Contact me at +49 152 237 399 00 or by email an kontakt@konflikte-fair-loesen.de, to arrange a non-binding phone call.

Case study

A couple who had been married for 15 years and had two teenage children came to mediation. She wanted a separation from him, but only within their shared home. In fact, she wanted everything to remain as it was. For him, however, it was important that if they were to separate, everything should be divided and settled.

Within the mediation process, the wife was able to let go and in the end decided to move out. This cleared the way. Now the division of assets and the question of spousal support could be settled – according to the fairness criteria that were important to both of them. Right from the beginning, there was an agreement on the care of the children after the separation. Conclusion: It is always important to allow space for emotional development in the process of separation. Then everything else is resolved much more easily and sensibly.

Agreement with one another instead of fighting against each other. Freia Sabine Säuberlich represents this approach in everything she does in her work.

„From my point of view, the goal should be to prepare a foundation for resolving a conflict that everyone perceives as fair and that restores the peace, taking into consideration the individual needs and values of all parties involved. As a lawyer who had long worked in the traditional sense, this is precisely why I decided to focus on out-of-court proceedings, where clients can design the solution themselves.“

Keynote speeches and seminars in Mallorca

In addition to my expertise as a mediator and lawyer, I offer seminars as an Aikikendo trainer. The Japanese wooden sword art offers the opportunity to strengthen inner balance through mindfulness and focus. Clear and centred action reinforces self-efficacy and sensitivity towards others. This allows understanding and cooperation to flourish in private and business relationships without overstepping boundaries.

The next available dates for seminars and keynote speeches in Mallorca will be announced here. If you are interested in a seminar or lecture, please send an email to kontakt@konflikte-fair-loesen.de. You will be informed directly by email as soon as a new date has been set.

Aikikendo Workshop for couples

Strengthening your relationship through mindfulness and focus with the Japanese wooden sword

Are you in a relationship and curious about new ways of communicating with your partner? Would you like to gain a deeper understanding of and for each other? Without many words, the Aikikendo sword can be used to bring old relationship patterns to consciousness and change them sustainably.

The workshop focuses on strengthening the relationship through mindfulness and focus. You will be guided into a new world of experience that activates the physical, emotional and energetic senses. The wooden sword is guided with calm energy from within oneself. Focused mindfulness creates an inner space where you can encounter yourself and your partner in a new way without crossing boundaries.

You will gain valuable insights into your individual relationship dynamics. A new understanding of each other can unfold and a sense of how to go through everyday life in a centred way can be developed, which can help you not only in your personal partnership but also in business affairs.

Aikikendo Workshop for women

Female empowerment: strengthening self-efficacy as a woman with a Japanese wooden sword

In this workshop, we use the Japanese wooden sword to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. You will become aware of your inner strength and discover any blockages that may be holding you back or hindering your actions. The aim of this workshop is to consolidate your personal power so that you can act and interact with confidence and inner clarity in both your business and private life.

This seminar is for women who are open to getting to know themselves in a completely new, but honest and gentle way. And who feel the desire to strengthen their self-confidence and inner security in order to bring more clarity to their relationships.

Every relationship – whether personal or professional – begins within us. We focus on developing a keen sense of closeness and distance – so that you can interact in your interpersonal relationships in an authentic and self-determined way. The workshop offers you a safe space for exchange, reflection and practical exercises, to strengthen your self-awareness and to support you on your path to greater female empowerment.

Keynote speech for couples who go through separation

How to achieve fair separations and divorces – for the benefit of all involved

Separation and divorce shatter life dreams. Presumable security vanishes and strong emotions hinder respectful communication. What happens now? What do we need to sort out during the separation? What does the law offer – and how can we find a fair solution for ourselves and our children?

The law is based on the principle of “win or lose”. Therefore, enforcing legal claims in court often does not lead to fair solutions. In addition, extensive legal briefs from lawyers usually rub salt into open wounds unnecessarily – and do more harm than good to the relationship between the parties. The good news is that there are alternatives.

Gain insight into two out-of-court procedures: Mediation and Collaborative Practice address the actual needs of those involved, allow room for emotions and establish a communication that is based on equal terms. This is the basis on which those involved can work out solutions together that serve everyone – and that stabilise the relationship instead of further weakening it.

Testimonials from clients/ workshop participants

My husband and I felt we were in the best hands during our divorce mediation with Freia Sabine Säuberlich. She created an atmosphere and a safe environment in which we both felt equally heard. Thanks to this and her competent and empathic advice, we were able to reach an mutual agreement. I hadn't expected the mediation process to be so pleasant, as ‘divorce’ is not generally associated with anything pleasant. I am very grateful for that!
Mediation, Teaching Assistent
I was thrilled by how quickly we became close and trusted each other. It was truly an impressive experience to have spent so many hours with the sword, repeatedly finding myself and helping my opponent to gain new strength.
Workshop participation, Doctor
Your professional expertise helped me plan and take the necessary steps: you brought structure to the financial disentanglement of the marriage. You always gave me the feeling that you were contributing to the solution of the problem as an independent third party. Your ‘outside’ perspective was helpful to me in my consideration of the situation.
Mediation, Engineer
I had wanted to attend a seminar by Freia, who has been a master of the Japanese wooden sword for many years, for a long time. So I decided to give it a try and took part in a 3.5-hour AIKIKENDO workshop. I was able to feel the strength within me when I am completely centered within myself. Also, I felt how beneficial it is to be aware of my own limits and how wonderful it is to let go of expectations. Thank you to Freia Sabine Säuberlich for offering us this interesting opportunity in a safe surrounding to arrive within oneself, while at the same time revealing exciting parallels to our own business.

Time for new approaches

„Conflicts with a family member or partner are usually based on emotional entanglements. These makes it difficult for those involved to find good solutions for themselves. Once we disentangle ourselves emotionally, reactivate our own skills and gain the necessary confidence, solutions that are acceptable to all parties involved can be found. My goal is to support you through this process.“
